The lights are on and somebody is home!

In all honesty the Hypo Pastel is one of the most difficult morphs to photograph. These pictures do not do this snake justice. The Pastel Jungle and the Hypo (ghost) have long been 2 of my favorite morphs. The combination of the two simply blow me away!

I'm a 'yellow' guy and believe that yellow is the most marketable color when it comes to many things but mostly snakes. Bright yellow snakes bring on the 'Wow' factor and seem to get the most attention from novice snake lovers. That is a good thing because in the long run when these snakes do eventually make it into the real pet trade, they will be in very high demand.

The Hypo Pastel is a combination snake made up of Pastel Jungle (co dominant)and Orange Hypo (recessive). The Hypo cleans and softens the look as well as brightening it up removing some of the darkness that is common on adult Pastels. To me this is a perfect blend of color and contrast.

The Hypo Pastel takes all tat is good about a Pastel Jungle and combines it with all that is good about a Hypo. It works!

This particular line came from Joe Compel who is an outstanding breeder that has some of, if not the best, Hypos in the business.

We are expecting to produce our first ones in 2007 if everything goes according to plan. I can hardly wait!
