It has the stripe of a Genetic Stripe. It has the head of a Cinnamon. And it has the side markings of...I'm not really sure. All I know is that she is different and I hope she is genetic!
In 2003 I picked up two striped females. Although very similar as hatchlings they developed in different directions. The other one, who I call the 'Granite Stripe' really darkened up and has a lot more granite.
I decided to name this one the Cinnamon Stripe because because of its similarities to the Cinnamon Pastel that Greg Graziani had proved out that year. Although I don't think for a moment that she is a Cinnamon, she does have some features that make me believe that she will be genetic like the Cinnamon was.
"It has the stripe of a Genetic Stripe.

Although she grew rapidly and was bred in 2005, I don't think she will produce for me yet. In 2006 I plan on breeding her to a Yellow Belly and with any luck I might be able to create something new and exciting.
Her belly is clear as with most genetic co-dominants and dominants and her head doesn't look like it belongs on her body. The strip is absolutely perfect from head to the tip of the tail. Who know...she might be the next stripe to be proven genetic.
Regardless she is a real treasure and it's projects like her that make the waiting that much more fun. At first I was going to call her the Starbucks Ball because she looks like a specialty coffee you would order at Starbucks, but I think Cinnamon Stripe is more fitting. I'll keep you posted!
